ORDER

This petition is filed seeking writ of mandamus directing the respondents 6 to 12 to give police protection, on the basis of the representation dated 24.06.2021.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 17.08.2021, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that based upon the representation made by this petitioner, enquiry was undertaken and during the course of enquiry, the petitioner as well as the private respondent herein appeared and both of them gave an undertaking to the effect that they will not make any trouble with each other and it was found that there is no trouble at the hands of the private respondent herein as stated by the petitioner in her complaint, based upon which, it came to be closed on 10.07.2021. 3.Since the petitioner herself appeared before the Enquiry Officer and gave a statement to the effect that she has not pressed her representation, based upon the undertaking given by the private respondent herein, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this petition. However, if any trouble arises in 2/4

future, the petitioner may workout her remedy appropriately through appropriate proceedings. The undertaking given by the private respondent, namely, 13th respondent is also placed on record. 4.With the aforesaid liberty, this petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
