2nd Respondent/sub Tenant Prayer: Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a direction to the learned Rent Controller (Additional District Munsif), Madurai Town to dispose the proceedings in R.C.O.P.No.11 of 2013 within a stipulated time frame as may be prescribed by this Court.

For Petitioners : Mr.S.Subbiah COMMON ORDER Seeking a direction to the learned Rent Controller (Additional District Munsif), Madurai Town to dispose the Rent Control Original petitions in R.C.O.P.Nos.9 and 11 of 2013 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a time which may be fixed by this Court, the Civil Revision petitions are filed after invoking the provisions of Article 227 of the Constitution of India.

is that they had filed the Rent Control Original petitions as against the respondents under Sections 10(2)(i), 10(2)(ii)(a) and 10(2)(v) of the Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act, 1960 for eviction from the petition mentioned premises. 3.The petitioners are senior citizens and even the respondents had filed statement of objections in the above said rent control petition in the month of September 2013, the learned rent controller is not ready to take up the proceedings.Under these circumstances, the petitioners have approached this Court with this revision petition.

4.Heard Mr.S.Subbiah, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and perused the grounds of revision. 5.This Court after having satisfied with the reasons assigned therein, finds that in order to meet the ends of justice, a direction may be given to the learned Rent Controller, (Additional District Munsif), Madurai Town as sought for by the petitioners. 6.Accordingly, the Civil Revision petitions are allowed. The learned Rent Controller (Additional District Munsif), Madurai Town is directed to dispose the rent control original petitions in R.C.O.P.Nos.9 and 11 of 2013 within a period 4 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after receiving the memo of objection from the opposite party. No costs.
