ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner / accused No.7, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 420 and 506(i) IPC, in Crime No.5 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the first accused was doing Real Estate business in the name of 'Sparrow Global Trade' and that the defacto complainant is the friend of the first accused. The accused explained the business gain, believing the same, the defacto complainant and others deposited more than Rs.5 Crores in the account of the first accused, but they cheated them. Hence, the case.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail.

CRL OP(MD). No.9447 of 2022 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that 64 customers gave the complaint against the above said 'Sparrow Global Trade' and the amount involved in this case is more than Rs.5 Crores. He would further submit that the investigation is in initial stage, hence, he opposed to grant of anticipatory bail.
5.Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged against the petitioner and also considering the fact that in all over Tamil Nadu, complaints have been received against accused persons and also the fact that the investigation is in initial stage, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner at this point of time.
