Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and pass an order on the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2015 not to insist the petitioner the Stage Carrier bearing regitration No. TN 45 BC 8690 to operate at the last trips at 9.15 p.m from Thuraiyur to Trichy via Chettikulam.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and pass an order on the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2015 not to insist the petitioner the Stage Carrier bearing registration No. TN 45 BC 8690 to operate at the last trips at 9.15 p.m from Thuraiyur to Trichy via Chettikulam.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner is a Stage Carriage operator operating in the route from Thuraiyur to Trichy via Chettikulam. The last trip was scheduled at 9.15 p.m from Thuraiyur to Trichy. For the past 20 years, for want of passengers bus was not operated for the last trip. Therefore, he made a representation to the respondents to cut the last trip between Thuraiyur to Trichy. The said representation is pending before the respondents from 04.02.2015. Hence, the petitioner seeks a direction directing the respondents to consider the said request on merits and pass orders. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.02.2015 with regard to cutting of the last trip at 9.15 p.m of the Stage Carriage bearing registration No. TN 45 BC 8690 from Thuraiyur to Trichy via Chettikulam and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
