The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to issue patta to the petitioner based on the judgment and decree, dated 30.06.2016 in O.S.No.181 of 2007 and also the representations given by the petitioner on 30.01.2025 and 21.03.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the suit filed by the 3rd respondent was dismissed in favour of the petitioner. Based on the said verdict, the petitioner has moved the revenue authorities for issuance of patta. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, despite several representations given by the petitioner, no action has been taken on the petitioner's representations.

Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the 1st respondent to pass necessary orders regarding cancellation of patta as a first step, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Subject to such orders passed by the 1st respondent, the 2nd respondent shall consider the issue, regarding issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of order to be passed by the 1st respondent.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
