ORDER
The petitioner seeks to remove his name from the history sheet in No.281 of 2005.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents.
3. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's name has been shown in the history sheet for the past ten years and the fourth respondent has not taken any steps to review the continuation of the petitioner's name in the history sheet.
5.The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submitted that there is no case pending against the petitioner and a case registered against him was ended in acquittal. 6.For the above said reasons, the Writ Petition stands allowed and the respondents 3 and 4 are directed to remove the name of the petitioner from the history sheet within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
