O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent herein to return the petitioner's Security Deposit Amount Rs.1,62,400/- which deposited in connection with TASMAC bar license attached to the TASMAC Shop No.10538, situated at Sa.Ayyampalyam, Mannachanallur Taluk, Trichy district and by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.05.2022.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that he has deposited the security amount. He is running a TASMAC bar for a period of one year and subsequently, extended from time to time by the respondent till the closure of the shop without any arrear or default. Based on the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.8416 of 2017, dated 11.09.2017, the shop has been closed by the respondent Corporation. However, the respondent Corporation has not returned the security deposit amount to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition.

3. This Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.05.2022 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
