O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider his representation dated 08.09.2014 and to survey his land by fixing the boundary in Survey No.2/4 to an extent of 1 acre 43 cents and to issue individual patta to him which is situated at Poomparai, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 08.09.2014 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
