O R D E R

The petitioner is before this Court seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the fourth respondent to act upon the proceedings issued by the second respondent dated 25.10.2025, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.10.2025.

2. The petitioner had submitted a representation to the second respondent seeking removal of obstruction in the common drainage abutting the petitioner's property. The second respondent, by proceedings dated 25.10.2025, directed the fourth respondent to take necessary action on the petitioner's representation. The grievance of the petitioner is that the fourth respondent has not acted upon the said proceedings.

3. Ms. P.B. Ahamed Yasmin Parvin, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the fourth respondent would consider the proceedings 2/5

issued by the second respondent dated 25.10.2025, in accordance with law, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court. The said submission is placed on record.

4. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the fourth respondent to take action on the proceedings in O.Mu. A4/4345/2025 dated 25.10.2025 issued by the second respondent, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. There shall be no order as to costs.
