Respondent/Appellant/ Petitioner (Landlord) PRAYER: Civil Revision Petitions are filed under Section 25 of Tamilnadu Buildings (Lease and Rent) Control Act, against the fair Order and executable order passed in R.C.A.Nos. 32 and 33 of 2013 by the learned Principal Subordinate Judge Madurai dated 5.3.2015 reversing the order passed by the Rent-Controller, Additional District Munsif of Madurai Town in R.C.O.P.No.25 and 23 of 2007 dated 23.7.2013.

For Petitioner : Mr.M.Rajaraman For R3 : Mr.M.N.Sankaran C O M M O N O R D E R The revisions have been filed by the tenants challenging the eviction order passed in R.C.A.Nos.32 of 2013 and 33 of 2013. 2.Heard both sides and perused the materials available on records.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the respondents have filed a joint compromise memo thereby the tenant has agreed to vacate and hand over the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ possession to the respondents/landlords on or before 01.01.2017

and the landlords have also agreed to forfeit their right to demand any arrears of fair rent fixed under the Tamilnadu Buildings (Lease and Rent) Control Act.

4. Recording the memo of compromise, the Civil Revision Petitions are dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected C.M.P. (MD) Nos. 5736 and 6976 of 2016 are dismissed. However, the tenant shall continue to pay the contractual rent till he vacates from the premises. The compromise memo shall form part of this order.
