ORDER

When the revision petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the revision petitioner, who is the landlord, wants to proceed against the respondent/tenant under the new enactment, namely, Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants Act, 2017 (Tamil Nadu Act 42 of 2017) and that therefore, this revision petition may be dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to proceed against the tenant under the new enactment, namely, Tamil Nadu Act 42 of 2017. 2.Recording the statement of the learned Counsel for the revision petitioner, this revision petition is dismissed as withdrawn and liberty is given to the revision petitioner to proceed against the respondent/tenant in accordance with law under the new Act, namely, Tamil Nadu Act 42 of 2017.
