O R D E R

The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus to the 1st respondent to issue patta to the petitioner's house property.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3. The petitioner based on long and continuous possession of natham lands, has sought for issuance of patta. The petitioner has also put up construction of house and has got the same assessed to tax. According to the petitioner, the petitioner also remitting necessary property taxes to the authorities concerned, besides also enjoying the electricity service connection. 2/4

4. Considering that the petitioner is coming under the category of landless poor and has been in continuous possession and enjoyment of the property in question, the 2nd respondent shall consider the petitioner's application for issuance of patta and pass orders, after giving an opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
