: Respondents PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents for the willful and deliberate disobedience to the orders of this Court made in W.P.(MD) No.5217 of 2020, dated 12.03.2020.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court directing the respondents to pay the Service Surrender leave Salary amount of Rs.32,903/- payable to the petitioner for the period from 2009 to 2018, together with 18 percent interest from the date of his retirement ie,31/01/2019 to till the date of payment and all other attendant benefits to him For Petitioner : Mr.A.K.Thangavelu For Respondents : Mr.J.Senthil Kumaraiah

Alleging non-compliance of the orders of this Court in W.P.(MD) No.5217 of 2020, dated 12.03.2020, the petitioner has filed this contempt petition.

Cont.P(MD)No.876 of 2021 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned Counsel on either side that the order of this Court has been complied with. Learned Counsel for the petitioner has also made an endorsement to that effect. 3.In view of the aforesaid submission and the endorsement so made, this contempt petition stands closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the calculation arrived upon by the respondents, if so advised. Consequently, connected sub-application stands closed.
