: Respondents PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents for the willful and deliberate disobedience to the orders of this Court made in W.P.(MD) No.3834 of 2020, dated 26.02.2020.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus praying this Court directing the respondents to pay 18 percent interest for the belated payment of terminal benefits of PF Gratuity and unavailed leave salary and commutation payable to the petitioner from the date of his retirement i..e, 31.5.2018 to till the date of actual payment made to him ie., 21.9.2019 and all other attendant benefits to him within the stipulated period.

ORDER

Alleging non-compliance of the orders of this Court in W.P.(MD) No.3834 of 2020, dated 26.02.2020, the petitioner has filed this contempt petition.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned Counsel on either side that the order of this Court has been complied with. Learned Counsel for the petitioner has also made an endorsement to that effect. 3.In view of the aforesaid submission and the endorsement so made, this contempt petition stands closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the calculation arrived upon by the respondents, if so advised.
