O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this petition challenging the rejection order passed by the 3rd respondent vide his proceedings in Na.Ka. No.3949/2024/E1-166 dated 22.04.2024 and for a consequential direction to the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the cultural programme (ie.) Adal Padal on the eve of Chiththirai Thiruvizha at Arulmigu Sri Yelaikathamman Thirukovil at Ayyampatti Village, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District., to be held on 25.04.2024.

2. The petitioner has approached the authorities seeking permission to conduct Adal Padal in the village temple festival and it was rejected, based on the objections raised by the respondent police. 2/4

3. In view of the Model Code of Conduct, the petitioner is directed to approach the third respondent with a new proposal. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
