Common Prayer in CRP(MD)Nos.1239 to 1247/2016:- Civil Revision Petitions are filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to direct the District Munsif Court, Madurai Taluk to dispose of the suit in O.S.Nos.155, 156, 169, 170, 171, 172, 173, 174 and 175 of 2013 on its file within a time frame fixed by this Court.

For Petitioner : Mr.S.Kandasamy COMMON ORDER These revisions have been filed seeking for a direction to the District Munsif Court, Madurai Taluk to dispose of the suits in O.S.Nos.155, 156, 169, 170, 171, 172, 173, 174 and 175 of 2013, within a time frame.

2. Mr.S.Kandasamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner-Temple had instituted the suits in in O.S.Nos.155, 156, 169, 170, 171, 172, 173, 174 and 175 of 2013 against the defendants for recovery of possession and for other reliefs in the month of August, 2013 and as per Order 8 Rule 1 of C.P.C., the defendants have to file written statement within a period of 90 days. However, in this case, they have been taking time repeatedly for the past three years to file their written statement and the Court has been liberally adjourning the case. It is further submitted that they have been squatting on the property of the Temple without even paying the amount.

3. Considering the above submission, the learned District Munsif, Madurai Taluk shall dispose of the suits in O.S.Nos.155, 156, 169, 170, 171, 172, 173, 174 and 175 of 2013 as expeditiously as possible preferably on or before 31.10.2016. The respondents are directed to co-operate for completion of the trial.

4. With the above direction, these Civil Revision Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
