ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner is in judicial custody since 01.07.2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b) (ii) (B) of N.D.P.S Act in Crime No.201 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police. He seeks bail.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police. 3.The contraband involves is a small quantity of ganja weighing 1.100 kgs. The petitioner is not having any previous case. Hence, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail, subject to the following conditions: (i) The petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Special Court under E.C.Act Cases, Thanjavur. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ (ii) The petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation.
(iii) The petitioner shall not abscond.
