ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.1, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 506(i) of IPC, in Crime No.113 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent. 3.The petitioner is a Diamond merchant.

The defacto complainant had placed order with the petitioner to make some articles. The petitioner has made the articles as instructed and handed over the same to the defacto complainant. Claiming that some lock has to be changed, the bracelet was returned to the petitioner. The petitioner has carried out the necessary changes also. But the defacto complainant does not want the bracelet back instead he wanted money. Cause of action did not arise in Devakottai. The defacto complainant appears to have given one another complaint before the District Crime Branch, Ramanathapuram. The petitioner undertakes to return the bracelet in question to the defacto complainant.

inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain other conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Devakottai and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously. 5.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
