ORDER

This revision has been filed seeking for a direction to the Rent Controller (Principal District Munsif Court), Tuticorin to dispose of the Rent Control Original Petition in R.C.O.P.No.18 of 2015 within the time frame.

2.Heard Mr.A.Arumugam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and perused the materials available on record. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the eviction petition was filed on the grounds of willful default and own occupation. The tenant filed his counter on 01.08.2015 and thereafter trial commenced on 03.02.2016. Subsequently, the tenant has been unnecessarily taking time and he was not ready to cross-examine P.W.1.

4.It is further submitted that the pendency of the Rent Control Original Petition causes prejudice to the petitioners, therefore a direction can be given to the learned Rent Controller (Principal District Munsif Court), Tuticorin. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Considering the above said submissions, the learned Rent Controller (Principal District Munsif Court), Tuticorin shall dispose of the Rent Control Original Petition in R.C.O.P.No.18 of 2015, as expeditiously as possible preferably on or before 30.09.2016.

6. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
