ORDER

The prayer in this Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.03.2015 and consequently directing the respondents to grant old age pension to the petitioner in future along with arrears from the month of November,2014 to the month of March,2015.

2. Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. In view of the limited scope of the prayer and it is for the issuance of an Old Age Pension to the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 17.03.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
