Writ Petition is filed under article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent herein to consider and dispose of the revision petition dated 23.10.2024 pursuant to

the letter No.45508/N3/2024 dated 09.12.2024 for treating the petitioner's property in Survey No.699/1A measuring 3.78 acres Pillayarkulam Village, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Virdhunagar District as an agricultural land. ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the revision petition filed by the petitioner dated 23.10.2024 pursuant to the letter bearing No.45508/N3/20/24, dated 09.12.2024 for treating the petitioners' property in survey No.699/1A, measuring acre 3.78 cents at Pillayarkulam Village, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Virdhunagar District, as an agricultural land. 2.Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and perusing the material records of the case, aggrieved by the fixation of guideline value by treating the petitioner's property on per square feet basis, as if it is a residential / commercial land etc, the petitioner has filed revision petition to treat the property as an agricultural property. Admittedly, the same is pending.

3.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the first respondent would submit that if appropriate time limit is granted, the revision petition is dealt with and dispose of the same in the manner known to law. 4.In view thereof, this writ petition is disposed of on the following terms:

(i)The first respondent shall take up the revision petition filed by the petitioner dated 23.10.2024, issue notice of hearing to the petitioner and any other party interested and conduct an enquiry and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than 12 weeks from the date of receipt of the web copy of the order, without waiting for the certified copy of the order. No costs.
