Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to repair and renovate the Sirumalaipudhur - Tholukadu (Attappallam Link Road) which is located within the second respondent's forest and ensure the free flow transportation in the above road based on the petitioner's representations dated 21.11.2014 and 27.03.2015 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner is an agriculturist having lands in Attappallam Village, Dindigul District. The petitioner can reach his lands through Attappallam link road. According to the petitioner, eventhough a contract was awarded for laying the road, it was not completed. He therefore, wants this Court to direct the first respondent to repair and renovate the petition mentioned road, so that the petitioner can have easy access to his land. 3.When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the road which the petitioner referring to falls within the Reserved Forest area.

Advocate, this Court directs the second respondent to inform the writ petitioner about the fate of the representation given by him. The second respondent shall communicate the writ petitioner about the decision taken by him within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
