Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The limited grievance of the petitioner is that the second respondent is refusing to receive their sale deed, dated 04.07.2018, in respect of the land comprised in Survey No.2844, measuring an extent of 1.63.0 Hectare i.e.4.03 Acre, situated in Genguvarpatti Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District, for the purpose of registration.

4. I do not intend to give any finding on the petitioner's submissions with regard to the allegations that the second respondent is refusing to receive the sale deed. Nevertheless, whenever a deed of conveyance is presented for registration, the second respondent is bound to receive the same and incase, there is any infirmity, it is always open to him to call the petitioner to rectify the infirmity through a check slip.

5. In view of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to receive the petitioner's sale deed, dated 04.07.2018, in respect of the above mentioned land and register the same, if it is otherwise in order. Such an exercise shall be done within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
