O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.03.2025 and to provide police protection to survey the boundaries of the petitioners land and fencing the land in Survey Nos. 323/3, 323/4 situated at Sivakiri Village, Sivakiri Taluk, Tenkasi District. 2.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property in Survey Nos. 323/3, 323/4 situated at Sivakiri Village, Sivakiri Taluk, Tenkasi District. He has sent a representation seeking police protection to survey the property, but the same has not been considered. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that after receipt of the representation of the petitioner, they have issued summons to the petitioner for enquiry. However, the petitioner failed to appear for enquiry. If the petitioner appears for enquiry along with the necessary records, they will consider and take action based on the representation of the petitioner. 2/4

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition and recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that they have received the complaint of the petitioner and the same is pending for enquiry for appearance of the petitioner, this Court hereby directs the petitioner to appear before the 2nd respondent police on 19.04.2025 and produce all the relevant records, thereafter, the 2nd respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and take appropriate action, after affording opportunities to both parties, within a period of one week, in accordance with law.

5.With the above observations and direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
