For Respondent : Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For an Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.88 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners are arrayed as A-1 to A-6, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 147, 294(b), 323, 355, 427 and 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.88 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that in a funeral ceremony, when the de-facto complainant was sitting in the chair, at the time, the first petitioner herein questioning the same and scolded the defacto complainant. In this regard, there was a wordy quarrel between the petitioners and the de-facto complainant, in which, the petitioners said to have stripped the de-facto complainant naked and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.9085 of 2020 attacked the de-facto complainant and abused him with filthy language and caused several injuries. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent and they have been falsely implicated in the above said case.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the State would submit that the investigation is pending. 5.On perusal of the records, it is seen that the the petitioners acted in a cruel manner, merely, because the de-facto complainant sitting in the chair, the petitioners are said to have stripped him naked and attacked him and caused severe injuries. 6.Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Hence, this petition stands dismissed.
