*********** The revision petitioners are the son and daughter-in-law of the respondents herein. The respondents initiated proceedings under the Provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. The Revenue Divisional Officer, Usilampatti, is the competent authority. He issued the impugned notice dated 23.12.2015, to the revision petitioners herein. The revision petitioners instead of responding to the said show cause notice have moved this Court directly. The issuance of the notice by itself does not in any way infringe the rights of the revision petitioners. It is open to the revision petitioners to place their submissions before the authorities concerned and invite an https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

order after holding an enquiry. There is absolutely no merit in this Civil Revision Petition. The very filing of this Civil Revision Petition is pre-mature. The Revenue Divisional Officer is directed to dispose of the said proceedings as expeditiously as possible.

2.The Civil Revision Petition stands dismissed, accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
