ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents the Tahsildar,The Taluk Surveyor, Ayyalur Village Administrative Office, Vedasandur Taluk, Dindigul District, to survey and demarcate the agricultural land measuring 1.21.00 hectares in Survey No.364/4, Ayyalur Village, Vedasandur Taluk, Dindigul District. The petitioner had given a representation on 27.03.2023 and had also paid the necessary charges through e-challan.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader stated that there was an earlier attempt to survey the land but there were some objections, therefore, survey could not be done.

3. In view of these facts, a direction is given to the respondents to proceed further to survey the land and if there are any objections, to note down the name of the objectors and file a report as to why the survey could not be done. The respondents may also examine the documents by which the petitioner claims title and if it is otherwise in order, may proceed to conduct the survey. The entire exercise may be completed within a period of six weeks 2/4

from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
