ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.25 of 2020 and to file charge sheet within a time frame.

2. The grievance of petitioner is that eventhough the case has been registered in the year 2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 465, 468, 471, 474, 506(1) and 120B, IPC, so far, no steps have been taken by the Investigation Officer. Further, the anticipatory bail application filed by the accused has been dismissed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the case involves securing of documents. The fourth accused in this case was arrested and the anticipatory bail application filed by two other persons has been dismissed and they are absconding. He would also submit that so far, 10 witnesses have been examined. Since it involves securing of documents, six months time may be granted to the respondent Police to complete the investigation.

4. Considering the age of the petitioner, five months time is granted to the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file final report before the concerned Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
