ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the learned Additional District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Manamadurai to conclude the trial in C.C.No.384 of 2002 within a time frame as fixed by this Court. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that if the petitioner co-operates with the enquiry, the same will be concluded within a time that may be fixed by this Court.

3.The Hon'ble Supreme Court as well as this Court has given instructions to conclude the trial especially to dispose of the case, which are pending more than 5 years, within a specified time. But in this case, the trial is pending from the year 2002. Therefore, this Court is inclined to direct the learned Additional District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Manamadurai, to dispose of the case in C.C.No.384 of 2002 in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
