O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Musiri (FAC) to dispose of the case in C.C.No.169 of 2013 within a stipulated time.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the private complaint preferred by the petitioner has been registered in C.C.No.169 of 2013 and the case has been adjourned from time to time. He would further submit that both side evidences were concluded and the case was posted for argument and copy of the proceedings has also been enclosed in the typed set of papers.

3. Considering the fact that the case is pending for more than 5 years. Hence, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:

The learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Musiri (FAC) is directed to dispose of the C.C.No.169 of 2013 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
