ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 324 and 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002, in Crime No.147 of 1/3

2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that due to matrimonial dispute between the parties, on 25.03.2024, the petitioner came in a drunken mood, attacked the defacto complainant with aruval and caused injuries. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has objected for grant of anticipatory bail on the ground that the injured person has suffered a head injury and she was taking treatment as an inpatient for nine days. Now, she is discharged from the hospital.

5.Considering the nature of the injury, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
