O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the fourth respondent Police for not to harass the petitioner under the guise of petition enquiry in respect of the money transaction.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the fourth respondent Police harassed the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

3. Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, on instructions, would submit that in earlier based on the complaint given by the fifth respondent, the fourth respondent herein initiated an enquiry in C.S.R.No.117 of 2020 and thereafter, the same has been closed on 20.08.2020. Crl.O.P.[MD]No.9093 of 2020 the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, as of now, there is no petition / complaint pending against the petitioner.

4. The submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded.

5. Hence, it is made clear that now the complaint has been closed, the respondents Police shall not call the petitioner in the guise of enquiry and harass him.

6. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
