ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition had been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.P.C. Case No.90 of 2020, dated 20.08.2020, on the file of first respondent.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in the impugned summon, the petitioner was directed to execute bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties not below the rank Group-B Government Officers to maintain public peace and tranquillity for a period of six months and appear before the first respondent on 24.08.2020 and that since the period has already been expired, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

3.Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
