The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to complete the pending enquiry and dispose of the appeals, which 1/4

are admittedly pending on the file of the 1st respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. Considering the narrow scope of relief sought for by the petitioner and the fact that the appeals are pending for the past 5 years, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the 1st respondent to hear the pending appeals of the petitioner and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair opportunity to the petitioner and the interested parties, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
