ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to dispose of RDOTKS/2908/2024-B2 filed on 27.08.2024 or proceeding RDOTKS/3359/2024-B2 against the Application Number TN-7202309061026 before Tahsildar, Alangaulam and also a consequential direction to issue legal heirship certificate in favour of the petitioner against the deceased adoptive mother Madana Sundari based on the order passed by this Court, dated 07.03.2025 in W.P.No.7978 of 2025.
2. By consent, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
3. The petitioner is the adopted daughter of the deceased. Seeking issuance of a legal heirship certificate, the petitioner submitted an application before the Tahsildar, Alangulam (the third respondent herein) on 06.09.2023. However, the application was rejected on the ground that the petitioner had not submitted legal
documents in support of the adoption. Aggrieved by the said rejection, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tenkasi (the second respondent herein), which is still pending without any progress. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
4. Heard both sides.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the second respondent herein to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 27.08.2024, by taking note of the order passed by this Court dated 07.03.2025, in W.P.No.7978 of 2025 [S.Arasu vs. The Tahsildar, Mylapore Taluk, Chennai] and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner as well as all other persons, who may be interested in the subject matter, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of the matter and that it is open to the second respondent to consider the same on its own merits.
6. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
