ORDER
The petitioner seeks for expeditious disposal of the statutory appeal that has been preferred under Section 47A of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, on 30.09.2024.
2. When the matter came up for admission, Mr.N.Ramesh Arumugam, learned Government Advocate has produced the instructions from the second respondent stating that the appeal has been numbered in Appeal No.41878/No.4/2024 and that it will be disposed of in accordance with the seniority of appeals.
3. The original order itself was passed pursuant to a direction given by this Court in WP(MD)No.4508 of 2024 on 28.02.2024. The document had been registered in the year 2022 and still the proceedings are pending. In order to balance the interest of the petitioner and the respondents, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
