ORDER

Seeking for a direction to the second respondent to appoint the petitioner as Cook Assistant on compassionate ground by considering the petitioner's representations dated 08.05.2002 & 30.10.2017, the present writ petition came to be filed.

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing on both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3.According to the petitioner, her mother was working as Cook Assistant in the respondent department and she died, while she was in service. Thereafter, the petitioner made an application to the second respondent for appointing her to the post of Cook Assistant on compassionate ground. After receiving the interview letter from the second respondent, the petitioner attended interview on 29.03.2017 and she was selected for the post of Cook Assistant. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

However, till date, the respondent concerned has not given any appointment order to the petitioner. In this regard, the petitioner made several representations to the respondents. However, no action has been taken on the side of the respondents. Hence, the present writ petition.

4.The learned respective Counsel appearing for the respondents, submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits.

5.Under such facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 30.10.2017, and pass appropriate orders, on merit and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.The writ petition is disposed of, on the above terms. No costs.
