[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble CHIEF JUSTICE] We have heard Mr.H.Mohammed Imran, learned counsel, representing M/s.Ajmal Associates, for the petitioner and Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader, for the first respondent and Mr.H.Arumugam, learned counsel, for the respondents 2 & 3.

2. The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.02.2024 for removal of TASMAC Shops bearing Nos.5315, 5316 and 5556.

3. Learned Government Pleader for the first respondent submits that the petitioner has a remedy before the Appellate Authority under Rules 8 and 9 of the Tamil Nadu Liquor Retail Vending (In Shops and Bars) Rules, 2003.

4. In the light of that, the aggrieved person, if any, may avail the remedy as provided under the aforesaid Rules.

5. With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. [S.V.G., C.J.] [P.D.A., J.] 25.04.2024 NCC :
