ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel, Kanyakumari District to expedite the trial in C.C.No.134 of 2008 within a time frame as specified by this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's complaint has been registered and taken on file in C.C.No.134 of 2008 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel, Kanyakumari District, but the same has not been disposed of for more than 10 years. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Criminal Original Petition before this Court seeking the aforesaid prayer.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents would submit that summons were issued for examination of L.Ws.13 to 17 and the trial is pending.

4. Considering the above said fact, this Court is inclined to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel, Kanyakumari District to dispose of the C.C.No.134 of 2008 on day-to-day basis as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
