2. The prayer in the writ petition is for restraining HPCL from awarding contract in favour of the fifth respondent and for directing them to grant dealership to the petitioner.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought further time to argue the matter. The learned Standing counsel appearing for the Corporation pointed out that on 29.05.2024, the petitioner's request was rejected.
4. It is for the petitioner to challenge the same in the manner known to law. Nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. With this liberty to the petitioner, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
