Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the encroachment and repair the road and maintain the drainage channel and park,and by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.12.2014 within a stipulated period.

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] The petitioner has come up with this Public Interest Litigation for the following prayer;

"This Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ or order, more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the encroachment and repair the road and maintain the drainage channel and park, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.12.2014 within a stipulated period."

2.Reading of the above prayer would go to show that it is so innocuous and bereft of particulars, such as where the encroachment is?, where the channel is?, where the park is?, etc. The petitioner has not even given the survey numbers and other details regarding the properties in question. Further, the alleged encroachers are also not made as a party in the Writ Petition. Hence, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. This Writ Petition is, therefore, dismissed. No costs.
