ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.277 of 2016. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 07.12.2016, no final report has been filed till date. He further submitted that the bail application was dismissed by this Court on 08.01.2017 and the respondent has not taken any steps to secure the accused.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent Police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of two months. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.In view of the above, the respondent Police is directed to either file a final report, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
