Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission for conducting Innisai Katchery and Adal Padal Programmes on 29.05.2022 and 31.05.2022 at about 7 p.m. to 12 p.m for the Dr.B.R.Ambedkar 132 birth Anniversary Celebration of petitioner's Village situated at Ambedkar Nagar, Kuruvikulam Via, Thiruvenkadam Taluk, Tenkasi District on the basis of the petitioner's representations dated 10.05.2022 and 20.05.2022. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to grant permission for conducting Innisai Katchery and Adal Padal Programmes on 29.05.2022 and 31.05.2022 at about 7 p.m. to 12 p.m. in the eve of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar 132nd birth Anniversary Celebration of the petitioner's Village situated at Ambedkar Nagar, Kuruvikulam Via, Thiruvenkadam Taluk, Tenkasi District, on the basis of the petitioner's representations, dated 10.05.2022 and 20.05.2022. 2.Heard learned counsel on either side.

3.Though the petitioner has sent representations on 10.05.2022 and 20.05.2022, so far the respondents police have not given any response to the said representations. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that though the respondents police have received the communications only on 21.05.2022, sofar they have not given any reply to the same. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.10363 of 2022 4.Considering the facts and circumstances and also the fact that the respondents police have not given any adverse report regarding the law and order problem, the second respondent police is directed to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct Adal Padal Programmes on 29.05.2022 and 31.05.2022 and in case of any necessity, the second respondent police is directed to send two policemen to monitor the cultural programme.

5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
