ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to conduct an enquiry by the 3rd respondent, and subsequently to take appropriate action based on the petitioner representation dated 20.03.2026.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on 28.10.2025 the petitioner found that a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- was missing from his house and upon investigation, he came to know that the sixth respondent herein had stolen the money and some gold jewels from the petitioner's home and pledged the same with the respondents 4 and 5, on different dates. Hence, seeking action as against the sixth respondent, the petitioner had made a representation dated 20.03.2026 to the respondents 1 to 3. Since no action has been taken on his representation, he has come before this Court by filing the writ petition. 2/4

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the petitioner's representation has been received and enquiry would be conducted shortly.

4. Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, conduct an enquiry by issuing summons upon the petitioner as well as the sixth respondent, under Section 64 BNSS, and conclude the enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
