Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the encroachment made by the fifth respondent on Government Oodai Porampokku land in S/o.No.50, Kasavanampatti Village, Dindigul West Taluk, Dindigul District within a time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner wants this Court to direct the official respondents to remove the encroachments said to have been committed by the 5th respondent.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the 5th respondent stated that the 5th respondent has planted some vegetables and that the same will be removed totally within two months. The 5th respondent gives a further undertaking that after removing the crops within two months, she will not once again plant any vegetables in the petition mentioned water body. We also direct the official respondents to clear all other encroachments found in the petition mentioned water course. 2/4
