ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to provide police protection to life and limb of the Petitioners from the 3rd Respondent.

2. The case of the petitioners is that they are eking their livelihood from ironing cloths. The third respondent is their son, who is drunkard. He is living upstairs of the petitioners house. Now, the third respondent asked the petitioners to transfer the Title of their living house in the 3rd respondent name. The petitioner refused to do so. Therefore, on 17.06.2021 at about 05.00 a.m., the 3rd respondent abused the petitioners, assaulted them, made criminal intimidation and attempted to murder the Petitioners. The petitioners are not able to go into their house. Therefore, on 19.06.2021 they lodged a complaint with the first and second respondents, but, till now, they did not take any action. Crl.OP(MD).No.8570 of 2021 other hand, at any time, the third respondent will murder the petitioners. Hence, they filed the present petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioners, enquiry was conducted and it was closed on 06.07.2021 on the ground that they have given a statement before the respondent police that no further action is necessary on the complaint.

4. In view of the above submission made and the closure report submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, no further order is necessary in this petition.

5. With the above, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
