Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS directing the respondents to grant patta in favour of petitioner's name for the property in Old S.No.1/1A, New S.No.263/2 in Nanjoor Village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District following the patta obtained by the respondents 5 to 11 herein Patta No.1481, 2417 and 2460 and to an extent of 1.50 Acres by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2025. (Prayer amended, vide order, dated 22.04.2026, made in WMP(MD)No.8455 of 2026 in WP(MD) NO. 9154 of 2026)

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant patta in favour of petitioner's name for the property in Old S.No.1/1A, New S.No.263/2 in Nanjoor Village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District following the patta obtained by the respondents 5 to 11 herein Patta No.1481, 2417 and 2460 and to an extent of 1.50 Acres by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2025.

2.The petitioner is claiming patta after cancelling the patta which stands in the name of the private respondents. This Court without expressing any opinion on merits is directing the 3rd respondent to issue notice to the petitioner and the private respondents, conduct an enquiry and grant personal hearing. Thereafter, the official respondents shall peruse the records and pass orders in accordance to law on merits within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no
