ORDER

The petitioner was working as Head Constable in the respondent Department. In order to get an upgradation of Special Sub-Inspector of Police, he has made a representation on 07.05.2022 to the respondents. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has moved the present Writ Petition with the aforestated prayer.

However, when the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing today, Mr.S.Shaji Bino, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has submitted that his representation having been considered and rejected by the order dated 13.05.2022. In support of the same, the copy of the order in C.P.O.No.737/2022, dated 13.05.2022, has been produced before this Court. 3.In view of the said order having been passed, under which the representation dated 07.05.2022 of the petitioner has been considered and rejected, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become virtually infructuous.

4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the order dated 13.05.2022, if he is advised to do so in the manner known to law. No costs.
