ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 601 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent police station in respect of the petitioner/ accused.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that investigation in Crime No.601 of 2024 has been completed and charge sheet will be filed within 15 days before the jurisdictional Court. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

3. Since the present petitioner is only to challenge the First Information Report in Crime No.601 of 2024 and in this case investigation has been completed and charge sheet has also been made ready, and also as per FIR, there are some allegation to constitute the offence, it is for the petitioner to challenge the charge sheet to be filed by the first respondent in the manner known to law.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed preserving the liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report to be filed by the first respondent, in the manner known to law. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
