By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

Seeking a writ of Mandamus, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition, to direct the respondents herein to grant permission to the petitioner to participate and to get Second Mariyathai as representative of Solamma Naicker Vagaiyara in Shri Kalliamman Temple and Muthalamman Temple Festival situated in Kappalur Village, which is going to be conducted from 08.04.2015 to 11.04.2015 and also direct the second respondent to give adequate police protection in the light of the interim order passed in Na.Ka.No.572/2014/Ne.Mu.A., dated 09.04.2014, by the first respondent herein.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is not pressing the consequential relief seeking police protection and he has also made an endorsement to that effect. He, however, prayed for a direction to the respondents to permit the petitioner to participate and to get Second Mariyathai as representative of Solamma Naicker Vagaiyara in Shri Kalliamman Temple and Muthalamman Temple Festival situated in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Kappalur Village, which is going to be conducted from 08.04.2015 to 11.04.2015.

4. Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that in the light of the earlier order passed by the first respondent on 09.04.2014, the prayer of the petitioner will be considered and permission will be granted to him accordingly.
